Dracula: The Un-dead

Dracula: The Un-dead - Ian Holt I was not going to read this book, but then a friend loaned it to me and I couldn’t resist. It is the only “Stoker family authorized sequel” to the original Dracula. The book was very interesting with a few original hypotheses about current events in the late 19th century. However, they tampered a little too much with the original “character” of Dracula for my personal taste. As much as I enjoy the various takes on the vampire lore (everything from Anne Rice to Sookie Stackhouse), and as much as I liked the read I am sorry I read it.
