A Clash of Kings

A Clash of Kings - George R.R. Martin This second instalment in Mr Martin’s Game of Thrones and I am thoroughly engrossed in this series. Where the first book was the introduction to the lands and it occupants, this one is definitely the “everything goes to hell in a handbasket” instalment. Wars rage, families are splintered, rage rules the day and old debts are settled all in the name of protecting the realm. Danger is at the doorstep and when the people of the realm should be banding together it seems fate is pulling them further and further apart.
